Detroit, 14th December

Comes the winter around
Jhonny and Mary they’re walking down the street
there’s no one around
it’s another day in the biggest town, again

In the main door see
the gloomy eyes of a broken man
and further on the square
there’s a woman blood stain, painting the sacred pavement with rage

Another broken breathing, just another day
where is going the old american dream?
Jhonny shake my hand,
Mary come with me,
Oh, why can not try?
we can heal together our dreams

Comes the winter around
there’s another melody on the radio
glorious voice,
trying to bring us hope, to carry on our way again

May my voice to be enough today?
I could give to you a kind of solace?
Come and take my hand,
Come, oh come with me,
Oh, why can not try?
we can heal together our dreams
